Discussion on the progress of the Colombo District Development Programme
A discussion on the progress of the development programs implemented in the Colombo District headed by the District Secretary / Governor K.G. Wijesiri, held at the mini auditorium of the Secretariat on 14th today.
Lengthy discussions were taken place on various programs implemented within the district of Colombo such as multi faceted programs on reducing negative impacts of climate change, distribution of chicks in free of charge, Saubhagya production village programs-2021, Renovation of temples-2023, Eye examination program for school children and program of empowering entrepreneurs etc.
This program was conducted by the District Planning Division and a group of government officials including Colombo District Planning Director Mr. Senaka Silva, Additional District Secretary Mrs. Kanchana Gunawardena were also presentenced for this event.
