1. Religious Co-ordination

 Co-ordination tasks being carried out among Shashanarakshaka Mandalaya,Viharasthana Dayaka Sabha,Women’s Societies, Performance societies of temples and other volunteer organizations which is to be get involved in.

 Organization and co-ordination of divisional and rural programs.

 Liaising of above co-ordination tasks and Buddhist affairs with the respective Department.

2. Dhamma School Education

 Registration of dhamma schools

 Supervising of management and administration of dhamma schools.

 Registration of dhamma school development societies and teachers.

 Distribution of information about teachers and students of dhamma schools and other statistics as well.

3. Taking action to highlight the temple as the centre of the village while increasing connection between temple and the village.

4. Tasks regarding temples and monks

 Directing for registration of temples, monks, donor societies and identity cards of bhikkus.

 Participating in various festivals and look in to matters relating to donations to temples, properties of temples and bhikkus fallen sick.

5. Co-ordination tasks

 Build up relationship among the district secretariat, divisional secretariats and other institutions.

 Co-ordination of distribution tasks of dhamma school text books, uniforms, teacher’s allowances and other government grants to relevant institutions.

 Proper co-ordination of Department of Buddhist Affairs with the District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariat.
